Charity CEO not exactly working for free
So tell me if this seems a little ironic: CEO makes $1 million a year, officials spent $4.3 million on travel, $1.6 million on conferences, conventions and meetings, and $544,000 in lobbying fees. What's left for the Boys and Girls Club after all that spending? A little more should be going to the kids and a little less to lavish executive pay and a crazy expense account. If these CEO's want to be millionaires they really belong in the for-profit sector and not our charities, especially ones that receive your federal tax dollars.
