Police said they threatened a Toby Keith fan with a Taser over the weekend to get him under control at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre.

A security staff member had ejected him from the venue because he was drunk and disorderly, according to the report.

The security guard called on the Tinley Park Police Department for backup when the man refused to speak with him or provide any identification, the report said.

"The suspect was irate in the security office and stated that the (guard) was not the real police and he 'didn't want to speak with chubs,'" the report said.

Tinley officers did get him to present his identification, but still wouldn't leave the premises. Police said he reeked of alcohol.

The security guard told police that he wished to sign complaints for criminal trespassing against him.

Officers went to handcuff the suspect, he stiffened his arms and then his body. Even when officers were restraining him, they said he didn't stop resisting. They asked him multiple times to comply with their orders, according to the report.

"At that time, (the officer) deployed his Taser and placed it on the suspect's back and advised him to stop resisting," the report said. "The suspect subsequently complied and was handcuffed … "

Gregory D. Moss, 26, of the 9100 block of South Central Park Avenue in Evergreen Park, was arrested around 10 p.m. at the theater, 19100 Ridgeland Ave. in Tinley Park. 

He was charged with resisting a peace officer and criminal trespassing. His bail was set at $1,500.
