Hippy chick tells cops her boyfriend choked her with his dreadlocks

A dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend in Portland took a strange and violent turn Monday afternoon.

A woman told police her boyfriend not only assaulted her but choked her with his dreadlocked hair.

When police arrived on the scene, the boyfriend was already gone but officers were able to track him down and take him into custody.

Caleb Grotberg, 32, is now facing charges of second-degree kidnapping, second-degree attempted assault, fourth-degree assault, menacing and strangulation. He was arrested and is scheduled to be arraigned in court on today.

I think it's pretty obvious that we need to outlaw dreadlocks.  They are much too dangerous.
