Time to Start the Buy-cott

Opponents of Arizona's new anti-immigrant law are calling for a boycott of the state's products - including the popular Arizona Iced Tea.

The problem: Arizona Iced Tea is actually brewed in New York.

Online, misguided tea fans vowed to switch to Lipton or Snapple.

(Now this is where the intelligence of illegal immigration supporters is well revealed.)

"Dear Arizona: If you don't change your immigration policy, I will have to stop drinking your enjoyable brand of iced tea," Twittered Jody Beth in Los Angeles.

"It is the drink of fascists," wrote Travis Nichols in Chicago.

(Talk about teabags for brains)

The company did not return messages asking if they planned to set the public straight.

Founded in Brooklyn in 1992, the firm was based in Queens before moving into a new $35 million headquarters in Nassau County last year.

--Besides the iced tea, some people are boycotting companies that actually ARE in Arizona, like;

Cold Stone Creamery

Dial soap

PF Chang's

Fender guitars

U-Haul

GoDaddy.com

Sky Mall

US Airways

Best Western.

So, to counterract this ridiculous boycott, you initialize a BUYcott.  Tonight, shower with Dial soap, take the family to dinner at P.F. Changs, dessert at Cold Stone, go buy your little one their first Fender guitar and book a room at the your favorite city's Best Western.

Green tea is made from the top two leaves and buds of a shrub, Camellia sieisnns, of the family Theaceace and the order Theales. This order consists of 40 genera of trees or shrubs that have evergreen leaves, flowers with five sepal or leaf-like structures and petals. The genus Camellia consists of 80 species of East Asian evergreen shrubs and trees. Besides the leaves, other ingredients may be added to create special scents or flavors during the drying process, such as jasmine, flowers, or fruits. The funny thing is that this is also where the black tea is taken from. The only difference between the green and the black tea is process in which they undergo in order to become tea. In the green variety, the leaves of the Camellia sieisnns is only dried, while in black tea, the plant is fermented. The tea plant originates in an area between India and China. There are three main varieties of this plant—China, Assam (in India), and Cambodia—and a number of hybrids in between. The China variety grows as high as 9 ft (2.7 m) and has an economic life of at least 100 years. The Assam variety is a tree that grows as high as 60 ft (18.3 m), with an economic life of 40 years dependent upon regular pruning and plucking. The 16 ft (4.9 m) high Cambodia variety is naturally crossed with other varieties.Iced Green Tea: Place 2 teabags of Green Chai Tea in a glass teapot and pour hot water (just off the boil) until the water covers the leaves. Add ice cubes to the pot. Pour 5/8 cup of cold water into the pot. Leave this to cool for a few minutes and voila you?ve got Iced Chai!Hot: Place one teabag in a mug or a tea infuser. Pour water just off the boil. Let this brew for 2-3 minutes and enjoy. You can enjoy the second brew and subsequent brews by adding some more fresh hot water. When brewing tea the second time, 1/3 brewing time is adequate because water has already penetrated into the leaves.

Kudos to Arizona. Even in MS, as a correctional booking officer, if I suspected a new arrestee happened to be in this country in an "un-documented" status, I placed them on an ICE hold to await verification of their status. Those poor guys had it so rough with 3 meals a day, cable, any kind of junkfood they wanted from canteen....the civil rights violations they endure....oh boy.

I am 46, live in Lake Charles LA. I dont see what the problem is with having to show documentation to any one, I have to carry drivers license every where, have to show them to cash checks, write checks, buy cigarrettes, alcohol, never had a problem showing them to any one, I am proud to be an AMERICAN, If someone has a problem with showing ID to a law enforcement official, I figure there is something there to hide?
