VENUS WILLIAMS hit the court at the French Open yesterday wearing an outfit that was practically LINGERIE.
The top basically looked like a CORSET, and it ended in a frilly black skirt that was way too short.  Venus also wore flesh-colored stretchy shorts underneath the skirt, giving the illusion at times that she was exposing her meaty, muscular backside.
Venus told reporters that yesterday's look was all about ILLUSION . . . which will be, quote, " a lot of my motif this year" when it comes to designing her outfits for the court.
Despite the controversy . . . or maybe because of it . . . Venus cruised to a first-round victory over Patty Schnyder of Switzerland.
