The Crusades...fought centuries ago...maybe mentioned in Catholic classroom every once in a while, but Muslims today who have an unending hard-on for everything Jihad make them seem like yesterday.
This advanced, modern, peaceful, loving followers of the Islamic faith wallows in hatred for Christianity.
So when Pope Benedict XVI visited the United Kingdom, a group of angry Islamists embracing this cultural Napoleonic complex, gathered in protest against the Pope (well, the whole Christian faith really) and urged for his death and calling him “responsible” for the Crusades.
Muslim demonstrators chanted such quippy phrases; like “Pope Benedict, you will pay, Islam is on its way”, “Sharia is on its way”, “Justice is on its way” (a lot is coming our way, it seems) and threatened that Sharia would be “declared” against all who insult Muhammad.
The Pope's warm welcome was reinterated when the demonstraters told him to; “Watch your back,” swore that he will “burn in hell” and claimed that he “deserves the death penalty.”
