Morning Gents....long time Stevie Ray to Eat it Every day listener.

Last night I couldn't go to sleep.  Maybe it's the fact my once dynamic company sits in financial Hell thanks to the poor banking practices forced down our throats by the likes of of Barney Frank and Chris Dodd.

I got to thinking about my 57 years on this planet.

As a true Baby Boomer I've experienced  six ddistinctively different and exciting decades.

In short:

Childhood in the Fifties.....like a black and white photo.....Mom, apple pie and a country producing everything the world wanted...all was good.

Teen age sixties....war invaded our living rooms through a box.....what a great time for the peace and free love movement....our fast cars and music still live on....

Young adult seventies.....easy living, sex and drugs change the nation.....we still owe the world an apology for disco.

Adult eighties...the go and grow eighties gave us bigger and better everything.

The nineites......wealth building......"mine is bigger than yours" referred to our retirement accounts not our genitalia; could we really retire comfortably at 55?

Then the Y2K disaster...no, it wasn't an apocalypse of the worlds environment or a technological melt down as predicted by some.....it was a melt down of our country as the worlds most powerful and successful nation.....our leaders know the only way to get the populous to embrace socialism is to break us down and rebuild us...the only way to break us down is to destroy our economy....now nearing sixty, the Baby Boomers saw retirement accounts dwindle, jobs vaporize, we ask ourselves will we ever be able to retire?...weak boomers start looking to the government for help, willing to sacrifice freedom for security.

In a few months we will enter a new decade....what does the next decade hold for us....how will we describe the 2010's in 2109?

Sucking 6-Figures from the Gov't Teet...

This is the kind of thing that makes you feel proud about being a taxpayer.
A real warm fuzzy feeling
I was speaking to an emergency room physician this morning.
He told me that a woman in her 20’s came to the ER with her 8th pregnancy.
She stated “my momma told me that I am the breadwinner for the family.” He asked her to explain.
She said that she can make babies and babies get money for the family.
The scam goes like this: The grandma calls the Department of Child and Family Services and states that the unemployed daughter is not capable of caring for these children. DCFS agrees and states that the child or children will need to go to foster care.
The grandma then volunteers to be the foster parent, and thus receives a check for $1500 per child per month in Illinois .
Total yearly income: $144,000 tax-free, not to mention free healthcare (Medicaid) plus a monthly “Linx” card entitling her to free groceries, etc, and a voucher for 250 free cell phone minutes per month.
This does not even include WIC and other welfare programs.
Indeed, grandma was correct in that her fertile daughter is the “breadwinner” in the family.
I hope you share this story with your contacts so they know how the ruling class spends your tax dollars.

I also and from a different time. A guy wearing a wig would have been suspicious if not downright effeminate. Those NFL players wearing wigs and thinking it is cool baffles me(but then its rare that I watch pro ball these days).
